This was a very funny movie. I think the problem when it was in the theaters was the title. Booty Call doesn't really sound like something a lot of people would want to see. But give it a chance, it's only 79 minutes long so it won't be that bad. But it really is funny. Jaime Foxx, Tommy Davidson, Tamala Jones, and Vivica A. Fox star as four people just trying to get together. Foxx and Davidson play Bunz and Rushon. Rushon has been seeing Nikki (Jones) for 7 weeks and just wants to get with her. Nikki is a little hesitant and gets Lysterine (Fox) to double with her on a date. The rest of the movie is spent with Bunz and Rushon trying to sleep with the girls, and the girls wanting everything to be safe. From going out for condoms, saran wrap, more condoms, getting shot, things just go wrong for all involved. The story isn't all that important, it's been done before, it's just never been done this well before. Jaime Foxx is hilarious, and the rest of the cast is great. It also shows the need for safe sex, so it's funny and it has a message. What more could you ask for from a movie? Like I said, it's a really funny movie, so get past the title, and give it a shot.
