Look, part of me understands why people like these films. They're mindless entertainment featuring dinosaurs, and for whatever reason, people still love dinosaurs. The original Jurassic Park was an amazing piece of filmmaking merged with technology. The original Jurassic World was a great way to bring people back into the fold. But now it's just more of the same. An almost nothing story with a lot of dinosaur on dinosaur action. Is it something you need to see? No. But I won't hold it against you if you do. I just know that with this last trilogy at no point have I thought, oh man I really need to go back and watch them again. I know they said this is the end, but you and I both know in a few years there will be a new trilogy of films. Maybe a Planet of the Apes type thing where the dinosaurs have evolved into being able to speak.
